Pay:
$20,650.00 per year
Job Description:
Support the Pre-K teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. Assist with implementing daily classroom activities that promote students' academic, social, emotional, and physical development. Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce skills and concepts introduced by the teacher while encouraging independence, positive behavior, and school readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with classroom instruction, learning centers, and developmental activities. Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce early learning skills. Support students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom expectations. Encourage positive social interactions and model appropriate behavior. Assist with classroom management and maintain a safe, welcoming learning environment. Prepare and organize instructional materials and classroom resources. Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the teacher. Support students' academic, social-emotional, and developmental needs under the direction of the teacher. Assist with supervision during arrival, dismissal, lunch, recess, and other school activities as needed.
