Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our team, providing care and support to children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate love, patience, and respect for children while fostering their independence. Our program serves children ages 16 months to 6 years old. This position is working with children 3 old through 6 years. This position is perfect for individuals passionate about childhood development and eager to make a positive impact on young learners' lives. Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher(s) in implementing educational activities. Provide individualized support to children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Engage with children in various activities, including playtime, arts and crafts, and group discussions. Support caregiving tasks such as maintaining a clean classroom environment. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive environment for all children.
Minimum Qualifications:
Possess high school diploma Meet all health requirements including TB tests, immunizations, and physical examinations. Experience working with children.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in early childhood education or caregiving is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Child Development Associate (CDA) Montessori Assistant Certification Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
