Monroeton, PA Schedule:

Full-time, 10-month position. M-F 8:15am-3:30pm. Hourly position; you are only paid for the hours that you work

Caseload:

K-9, Autistic Support and Emotional Support classrooms

Requirements:

High school diploma is required. Experience working with children with behavioral challenges and assisting with daily living skills is highly preferred. Previous experience working as a Paraprofessional is highly preferred.

Additional Details:

Paraprofessionals will work with students 1:1 or support all students in a classroom. Paraprofessionals will provide services during the school calendar year and will follow the school calendar for days off, holidays, etc. Summers are off; ESY may be available but is not guaranteed. Job Description:

Provide one-on-one or full classroom support to students with disabilities or special needs in a school setting Assist with mobility, positioning, and personal hygiene as needed Support students in classroom activities, communication, and social interactions Help implement behavior management strategies under teacher and therapist guidance Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment Communicate effectively with teachers, therapists, and parents regarding student progress and needs

What You Bring:

High school diploma is required. An Associate's degree or higher is highly preferred A minimum of one year of recent experience working as a Paraprofessional with children in a school setting is highly preferred Experience working with children with behavioral challenges and assisting with daily living skills is highly preferred Must be comfortable using a computer Must be able to complete clinical documentation to school district standards Current clearances (within 6 months) About us: PRO Companies is a dynamic organization that employs professionals across diverse positions within their human services and health and wellness divisions.
