Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant Assistant Teacher, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help nurture the youngest learners during their most formative years. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and loving environment tailored to infants' developmental needs. Duties Assist in implementing daily routines that promote infants' physical, emotional, and cognitive development Provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, and comforting to ensure infants feel secure and loved Support classroom activities that stimulate sensory exploration, language development, and motor skills Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment by following health and safety protocols at all times Collaborate with lead teachers to observe and document each infant's progress and milestones Engage with children through play-based learning, fostering social interaction and positive behavior management Communicate effectively with parents about their child's day, needs, and developmental progress Requirements Prior experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings such as daycare or preschool is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for infant care Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, compassion, and excellent communication abilities Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a flexible, energetic attitude Commitment to creating an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning needs Join us in shaping the future by providing nurturing care that promotes growth, discovery, and joy for our youngest learners.
