A full-time 1:1 Para/PCA opening is available on contract, starting as soon as possible and running through June 2027. Bring your skills as a dedicated Paraprofessional to a welcoming school community near Norristown, PA, where your efforts will make a difference each day.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience as a Paraprofessional or PCA in an educational setting Ability to follow IEPs and work effectively with students needing individualized support Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills Understanding of classroom routines and positive behavioral support strategies High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications a plus)
Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct, one-on-one support to a student, helping them achieve educational and social goals Assist with daily classroom activities, maintaining focus and engagement Implement strategies outlined in the student's IEP under teacher supervision Facilitate communication between the student and classroom staff Assist with personal care, mobility, or medical needs as necessary Foster a supportive, inclusive, and positive learning environment Enjoy the opportunity to work in a dynamic school setting, where every day presents new experiences and opportunities to grow professionally.
