Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to support educators in delivering high-quality educational experiences for students. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers to assist in the implementation of instructional programs, fostering a positive learning environment for children. This role is crucial in helping students develop essential skills in literacy, math, and overall childhood development. Duties Assist teachers in delivering instructional activities and curriculum development tailored to meet the diverse needs of students. Provide one-on-one support to students, particularly in areas such as literacy education and math. Help manage classroom behavior to create a conducive learning environment. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs. Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring additional assistance. Engage students in learning activities that promote their social, emotional, and academic growth. Collaborate with educators to assess student performance and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Experience Experience working with students or children in an educational setting is preferred. Familiarity with childhood development principles and behavior management techniques. Knowledge of literacy education strategies and curriculum development practices. Experience or training in preschool education is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues. A passion for educating young learners and contributing positively to their academic journey.
