We have several openings for assistant teachers at our facility. We are looking for talented, self-motivated individuals to provide an educational, caring, and safe environment for our students. We will only consider applicants with a valid Child Development Associate. We are most interested in applicants with the following skills: Assist the lead teacher in executing the lesson plans and maintaining classroom routines. Experience working in a licensed childcare facility Provide children with routine interactions that promote their well-being (comfort, health, and safety), as prescribed by Bambinou's policies and practices. Encourage children to engage in activities that help them develop and strengthen their fine and gross motor skills, cognitive skills, language skills, and social skills. Provide input for planning lesson plans and daily activities, and participate in their implementation. Prior classroom support experience in special education or early childhood education is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom Keep the classroom clean, neat, safe, and inviting. Actively engage with children to guide as they learn and process information. Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work General Job Description Plan and implement a full-day, year-round, developmentally appropriate curriculum, including weekly lesson plans and regular rotation of toys and equipment. Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. Assess all areas of children's development using the Creative Curriculum. Develop and maintain a portfolio for each child. Conduct a 45-day "Ages and Stages" and three parent-teacher conferences per year with each family. Manage classroom behavior and discipline positively and effectively. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support program success. Form and maintain a professional relationship with parents and families.
