Brentwood Borough School District Pittsburgh, PA 2 DAYS AGO 22665138 Summary Pittsburgh, PA In-Person $14.00 - $16.25 per Hour 1 Months Experience High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED) No Commission 37.50 hours per week / Day Shift / Part-Time / Hours May Vary Description The Brentwood Borough School District is in Need of Substiute Paraprofessionals for the 2026 - 2027 School Year Precision HR Solutions is partnered with the Brentwood Borough School District and currently searching for "Substitute Paraprofessionals" to work with students in grades PK-12. These positions are usually available on a day-to-day or part-time basis, however, long-term/full-time assignments will often become available throughout the district during the school year. Candidates seeking full-time work who may not always see it available at Brentwood are encouraged to fill in their schedules by working absences in nearby districts such as West Mifflin and/or West Jefferson Hills. If the candidate is not available for full-time work, these shifts are often flexible enough to help fill in the gaps in the candidate's schedule. In other words, there is a lot of freedom and flexibility that allows the candidate to work when they are available.

Paraprofessionals:

Assist in the reinforcement of previous instruction or to reinforce the implementation of an existing behavior plan for students as directed Assist with the development and implementation of collaborative practices to help support services for students as needed and required Assist student(s) with activities of daily living. This is not an exhaustive list of potential responsibilities. There are additional assigned duties and responsibilities as directed Pay rate: $14-$16.25 per hour (depending on the district) Clearances required within the last year: PA Criminal Background Check PA Child Abuse Clearance FBI fingerprints through the Dept. of Education Act 126 Clearance (online Mandated Reporter training) Arrest/Conviction Record form (Act 24) and Act 168 clearance (Precision will provide these forms for the candidates to complete) Pre-employment physical and TB test required (neither should be more than 1 year old) Don't know how to get your clearances? Additional Requirements:

It is preferred candidates have some experience (at least 1 -3 months) working with children in grades PK-12. All interested candidates must have either a high school diploma or GED.
