Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students in a school-based setting in the greater Plymouth Meeting area! Dedicated paraprofessionals, PCAs, BTs, and RBTs are needed for two contract roles starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year in June 2025. These are full-time, weekday positions from 8:45am-3:30pm, including bus riding responsibilities as part of the school day. Enjoy the opportunity to work under the guidance of experienced Special Education teachers and school administrators, providing hands-on support to students who need you most. At least one opening requires a male Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to further support students' diverse needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
Prior experience working with students is required No licensure is necessary for paraprofessionals or PCAs Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required for those billing as RBTs BTs must have completed 40-hour RBT training Ability to start promptly and commit through June 13, 2025 Team-oriented, patient, and effective at following direction from supervising staff
Responsibilities:
Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students with individualized needs Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment Supervise and assist with transportation and transitions, including bus riding Collaborate closely with supervising Special Education teachers and school principals Support students in achieving their IEP and behavioral goals Enjoy the satisfaction of fostering growth and independence in young learners while collaborating with supportive education professionals.
