Job Description
We are currently interviewing for experienced and energetic early childhood educators to join our dedicated staff as an Assistant Teacher in the Pottstown area working with multiple age groups. Hours are 2PM-6PM M-F. Paid time off, paid holidays. Sign on Bonus $300-$2100 dependent on credentials. EOE Responsibilities and Duties Maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized. Build relationships with infants and toddlers through positive interactions that promote social, emotional and cognitive development . Assessment of children and maintain child portfolios. Implement Pa. Early Learning Standards and maintain Keystone STAR 4 high quality initiatives. Recognize, observe and evaluate children's development and implement strategies to enhance child's development through intentional teaching. Attending to children's daily needs including supervision of toileting/diapering, meal times, indoor/outdoor play times, and nap time supervision. Provide an engaging classroom that allows children to explore through experimentation. Qualifications and Skills High School Diploma or GED Patient and flexible. Basic computer proficiency.
