This PT position is for Mondays-Fridays, 2:30-6:00PM.

Duties:

• Assist the lead teacher in providing a safe and nurturing environment
• Support the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote child development and learning.
• Assist with feedings, diaper changes, and comforting the babies
• Supervise children during playtime, meals, and outdoor activities.
• Maintain open communication with parents and provide updates on their child's progress.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom.

Skills:

• Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.
• Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Requirements:

• Criminal background, Child Abuse, FBI, and NSOR clearances required prior to start date.
• HS diploma or GED
• 2 years of child care experience preferred, but not required.
• Staff physical and TB test required prior to start date.
• 2 non-family references on file attesting to your abilities working with children.
• Mandated reporter and Health and Safety trainings required within first 90 days of employment.
