Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a difference in a student's life by supporting their educational journey as a dedicated 1:1 Paraprofessional. This full-time contract position for the 2025-2026 school year offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with an elementary student with moderate behavioral and developmental needs. The assignment runs from August 25th, 2025 to June 12th, 2026, Monday through Friday, for 37.5 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
Prior experience working in schools, specifically in a paraprofessional or similar support role Familiarity with supporting students with developmental delays and moderate behavioral challenges Strong communication, patience, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow educational plans
Key Responsibilities:
Provide consistent 1:1 support to a female elementary student, both in and out of the classroom setting Assist the student with academic tasks, social skills, and daily routines Implement individualized strategies in accordance with educational and behavioral plans Foster a safe, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and other support staff to monitor progress and adapt support as needed Communicate regularly with the educational team regarding the student's ongoing growth and daily needs Benefits of this
