Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Previous experience as a paraprofessional, classroom aide, or similar support role preferred Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students Demonstrated patience, empathy, and adaptability with students of varied backgrounds and abilities High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications a plus Ability to follow teacher's directions while showing initiative in supporting classroom activities Positive attitude and commitment to promoting student success and well-being

Key Responsibilities:

Assist lead teacher with instructional activities and classroom management Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students with diverse needs Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral strategies as directed Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff Encourage inclusion and participation among all students Support a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment Assist with clerical duties, preparation of materials, and supervision during transitions/meals
