Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting teachers and enhancing the learning experience for students. This position requires a passion for education, particularly in working with children, and a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment. Duties Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities. Support students in their learning by providing one-on-one or small group assistance. Help maintain an organized and safe classroom environment conducive to learning. Monitor student behavior and provide guidance on classroom management. Assist with special education needs, ensuring all students receive appropriate support. Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and parents as needed. Prepare instructional materials and assist with classroom setup. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities. Experience Candidates should possess relevant experience that may include: Experience working with children in various settings such as classrooms, daycare centers, or through nannying/babysitting roles. Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices. Knowledge of special education strategies to support diverse learners. Experience in toddler care or similar age groups is advantageous. Certification or training in first aid is preferred but not mandatory.
