Preschool & Daycare Teachers (Lead & Assistant Roles)

At EarlyDay, we are searching for passionate, dedicated, and nurturing childcare professionals who are ready to use their experience and training to make a difference in children's lives. We have exciting opportunities and are hiring for multiple preschools, daycares, and childcare centers in Wilkes-Barre, PA and surrounding communities across the Wyoming Valley. We are looking for both lead teachers and assistant teachers for our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms.

Teacher Responsibilities:

Interact affectionately and respectfully with children Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment Communicate professionally and warmly with peers, children, and parents Collaborate effectively and work well with other teachers and school staff members Follow all health, safety, and supervision policies at all time

Teacher Qualifications:

Must be 18 years old High School diploma (or equivalent) is required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred Experience working in daycare, preschool, or child care settings with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children is preferred Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate preferred Coursework in early childhood education and child development is preferred Make a difference in daycare and preschool education with EarlyDay and apply today.
