The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves planning and implementing engaging educational activities while ensuring the safety and well-being of each child in the classroom. Experience with Infants and Toddlers is preferred. Responsibilities Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood education. Create a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Manage classroom behavior effectively using appropriate behavior management techniques. Provide individualized support to children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities. Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's progress and address any concerns. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom space conducive to learning. Observe and assess children's development, documenting progress and milestones. Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge. Qualifications High School Education or CDA preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Experience working in a preschool or daycare setting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education practices. Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively with strong behavior management skills. Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus. Previous experience in nannying or childcare is beneficial. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with children, parents, and staff. A nurturing attitude with a genuine love for teaching young children.
