Job Description

Overview Twinkle Star Dance Academy of Midlothian is looking for a warm, energetic, and dependable Dance Instructor Teaching Assistant / Studio Assistant to join our growing team! We specialize in preschool and recreational dance classes for children ages 2+, using the award-winning Twinkle Star Dance curriculum taught in studios around the world. Our focus is creating a fun, polished, and encouraging experience for both dancers and families. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with children and enjoys being part of both the classroom experience and overall studio environment. Position Overview This is a hybrid role that may include: Teaching preschool and recreational dance classes Assisting instructors during classes and transitions Supporting classroom flow and student engagement Greeting families and helping create a welcoming studio experience Assisting with camps, special events, and recital preparation Helping maintain a positive, organized studio environment We are especially looking for candidates with flexible availability, including some combination of: Weekday mornings Weekday evenings Saturday and/or Sunday mornings Qualifications Experience working with children required Dance teaching or dance training experience preferred Positive, dependable, and team-oriented Strong communication and classroom management skills Comfortable learning and implementing the Twinkle Star curriculum Ability to create a nurturing and high-energy environment for young dancers Why Join Us?
