General Statement of Duties To assist the teacher in implementing the instructional program. This vacancy is open until filled. Temporary position. No more than 29 hours per week . Hours per day will be assigned by the principal. Temporary employees will report to the school building for this position. Essential Duties

• Help prepare, organize, and maintain instructional materials and classroom learning centers.
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the lead teacher.
• Assist with the implementation of foundational literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional lessons.
• Utilize instructional Technology and classroom tools as directed by the teacher.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and information in accordance with district policies and applicable laws.
• Assist with classroom assessments, screenings, and documentation as directed.
• Perform job duties specific to the school location and the needs of the kindergarten program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

Age/Education:

Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.

Certification:

Must hold a Paraprofessional Autism Certification or be willing to complete the provided training within 60 days of hire (at no cost to the employee).

Preferred Qualifications:

• A passing score of 455+ on the ParaPro Assessment.
• Completion of at least 60 college credit hours from an accredited institution.

Additional Information $18.80 per hour
