Job Description
Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Bring your passion for supporting students to this full-time contract opportunity as a Paraprofessional serving a Grade 11 student. You'll be working onsite during school hours from 7:30 AM to 1:52 PM, closely collaborating with a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to ensure students receive the assistance and encouragement they need. Your commitment will help create a positive and inclusive educational experience, empowering the student's learning and development each day.
Qualifications:
Experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting Ability to follow guidance from specialized educators, such as a TVI Patience and adaptability when working with high school students Good communication skills for collaboration and student support Dedication to creating a positive and engaging learning environmentKey Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to a Grade 11 student as guided by the supervising TVI Assist with classroom tasks and help implement individualized instructional plans Foster independence and confidence in the student's daily activities Adapt materials and classroom activities to meet student needs Support both academic and social development during class time This is an excellent role for those who enjoy making a real difference through hands-on support in an educational environment.
