Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher Assistant to support classroom teachers and enhance the learning experience of young children. This role involves working closely with students to foster a positive, engaging, and safe educational environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, experience working with children, and a nurturing attitude to help children develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities aligned with curriculum standards. Supervise children during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and transitions to ensure safety Help facilitate a nurturing environment by engaging children in age-appropriate play, learning exercises, and social interactions. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, including preparing materials and assisting with classroom setup. Support children's developmental milestones through caregiving activities such as diapering, toddler care, or infant care as applicable. Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress Follow all safety guidelines and policies to ensure a secure learning environment for all students. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, or early childhood education is preferred. Experience with classroom management and caregiving roles such as babysitting or nannying is advantageous. Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable. Ability to work well with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and students with special needs. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members. Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in supporting children's growth and learning.
