Position Overview:
All Saints Academy seeks a caring, energetic, and faith-filled PreK Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood team. This individual will work closely with the classroom teacher to create a joyful, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where our youngest learners can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
Responsibilities:
Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lessons and activities. Support students during classroom instruction, centers, play, and transitions. Foster a warm, welcoming, and positive classroom atmosphere. Encourage social, emotional, and spiritual growth through daily interactions. Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and maintaining a safe learning environment. Supervise students during lunch, recess, arrival, dismissal, and other school activities as assigned. Help students develop independence, problem-solving skills, and positive relationships with peers. Model Christian values of kindness, respect, patience, and compassion. Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to support student success.
Qualifications:
Experience working with young children is preferred Associate's degree, CDA, or coursework in Early Childhood Education is desirable Enthusiasm for early childhood education Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to maintain a positive, flexible, and supportive attitude Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education If you have a passion for working with young children and helping them discover God's love while building a strong foundation for lifelong learning, we would love to hear from you!
