You will be working closely with pupils with Autism aged 3 to 16, supporting their learning, communication, and social development in specialist educational settings. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work within specialist educational environments, supporting pupils to engage with learning, build confidence, and achieve personal milestones in a supportive and inclusive setting. • Moderate Learning Difficulties SLD
• Severe Learning Difficulties ASC
• Autism Spectrum Condition PMLD
• Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties PD
• Physical Disabilities EBD
• Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties Key responsibilities include: Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups Assisting with classroom activities and lesson delivery Adapting learning materials to meet individual needs Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents/carers Promoting independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff What We're Looking For Experience supporting children or young people in education, care, or support settings A patient, positive, and flexible approach Ability to manage behaviour calmly and effectively Strong communication and interpersonal skills Relevant qualifications (e.

g.
