Vision for Education is recruiting enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of SEN schools in Newport and the surrounding areas. This is a highly rewarding opportunity for individuals looking to build a long-term career in education while making a genuine impact on young people's lives. You will be working closely with pupils with Autism aged 3 to 16, supporting their learning, communication, and social development in specialist educational settings. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work within specialist educational environments, supporting pupils to engage with learning, build confidence, and achieve personal milestones in a supportive and inclusive setting. - Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties PD
- Physical Disabilities EBD
- Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties Key responsibilities include: Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups Assisting with classroom activities and lesson delivery Adapting learning materials to meet individual needs Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents/carers Promoting independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff What We're Looking For Experience supporting children or young people in education, care, or support settings A patient, positive, and flexible approach Ability to manage behaviour calmly and effectively Strong communication and interpersonal skills Relevant qualifications (e.
