This contract role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution in a transition program for approximately 4-6 weeks starting in October. You'll work onsite each day from 7:00 AM 2:30 PM, supporting students and teachers, with a focus on assisting those with special needs, including some toileting tasks.

Key Qualifications:

An Associates degree or higher, or successful completion of ParaPro Exam or possession of a TA certification required Paraprofessional experience in a school setting highly valued Compassion, patience, and a strong commitment to student care and education Ability to meet onboarding requirements, including background screening Willingness to assist with personal care and transition program duties

Role Responsibilities:

Provide support to classroom teachers and students throughout the school day Assist with the implementation of individualized education and transition plans Engage with students during activities, reinforcing learning and fostering inclusion Support students with daily life skillsincluding personal care as needed Maintain a positive, safe environment and clear communication with staff and students
