TAPA:

Trinity Academy for the Performing Arts, an academically rigorous public charter school for the arts, seeks a full-time Bilingual Teacher's Assistant (or Paraprofessional) to support our 5th grade classroom. Each of TAPA's elementary school classrooms has a dedicated full-time bilingual TA assigned to it. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education, values student voice, and is excited to build relationships with multilingual learners. The Bilingual TA will be embedded in the 5th grade class all day, supporting both the Humanities (English/History) and STEM (Math/Science) teachers. They will work directly with students to support classroom learning, foster engagement, and reinforce academic concepts in both English and Spanish. This position is primarily academic in focus, with additional responsibilities related to maintaining a supportive and productive learning environment. TAPA's creative community is enriched by the cultural, religious, racial, ethnic, and linguistic diversity of our neurodiverse families, students, and employees. Nearly all TAPA students are people of color, predominantly Latinx, and many speak both English and Spanish at home.
