Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking two to three dedicated Assistant Teachers to support the early childhood education team in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will assist in implementing classroom activities, fostering childhood development, and maintaining positive communication with parents. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with experienced teachers and contribute to the growth and well-being of preschool students. Responsibilities Assist in supervising and caring for preschool children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being. Support the implementation of age-appropriate educational activities that promote early childhood development. Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and socialization. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and classroom events. Collaborate with lead teachers and other staff members to plan and execute lesson plans and classroom routines. Engage with students through play, learning exercises, and social interactions to foster their emotional and cognitive growth. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and assisting with discipline strategies as directed by lead teachers. Experience Prior experience working with young children in a childcare or early childhood education setting is preferred. Familiarity with childhood development principles and age-specific teaching strategies is advantageous. Experience in classroom management, parent communication, or teamwork within an educational environment is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills, patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children are essential qualities for success in this role.
Pay:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
