Minimum of sixty (60) academic credit hours from an accredited institution of higher education or An associate degree (or higher) OR Item (1) High School Diploma or the equivalent AND Item (2) Ready to Work Credentials

• minimum of Level 3 certification or
• ParaPro
• Copy of passing score (minimum 456) on ParaPro, the state approved academic assessment Montessori certification/knowledge preferred; willingness to learn Montessori approach required Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

: Provide classroom teaching assistance Provide supervision of students at all times Maintain a positive classroom environment Provide students with daily care (e.g. toileting, diapering, feeding, etc.) as needed or required Adhere to district dress code policies Maintain required confidentiality in regard to students and school records Positively supports all facets of student growth and development Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds Perform other duties as assigned A complete application packet must be submitted through the online application system prior to the closing date in order to be considered for this position.
