Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher Assistant to join our vibrant educational team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster early childhood development, ensuring each child's individual needs are met with care and professionalism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our students while gaining valuable classroom experience. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards Support children's social, emotional, and developmental needs through attentive caregiving and positive behavior management Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety at all times Help organize classroom materials, educational resources, and learning activities to promote an enriching environment Provide individualized support for children with special needs or disabilities, including implementing tailored strategies and interventions Maintain open communication with teachers, parents, and caregivers regarding children's progress and behavior Ensure a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that complies with health and safety regulations such as first aid protocols Experience Prior experience working with children in settings such as preschool, daycare, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a strong advantage Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification upon hire is expected Demonstrated ability to provide nurturing care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or school-aged children Previous experience in childcare roles such as daycare assistant or toddler caregiver will be considered an asset Join us in making a positive impact on young learners' lives!
