Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Assistant Teacher/Floater to join our vibrant educational team. In this vital role, you will support classroom teachers by assisting with daily instructional activities, supervising children, and ensuring a positive learning environment. As a floater, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple classrooms, providing flexible support where needed. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers with implementing lesson plans aligned with educational standards Supervise children during activities, transitions, meals, and outdoor play to ensure safety and positive behavior management. Support classroom management strategies by encouraging appropriate behavior and fostering a respectful environment. Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress, document observations, and communicate effectively with parents about their child's development. Maintain compliance with educational regulations and health & safety protocols, including first aid and CPR certifications. Requirements Prior experience working with children in early childhood education settings or classroom environments. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and students. Ability to supervise children safely while engaging them in meaningful activities. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified. Background check and drug screen required.

Pay:

$12.50 - $13.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
