Job Description

Who We Are Spring Hollow Community Learning Center is a Reggio Emilia inspired, nature-based preschool where artistic exploration and discovery are central to our work with children ages 3-5. We value educators who see children as capable and curious collaborators who approach teaching as a shared journey of growth and creativity. We're currently seeking a Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join our team beginning this school year in August.
Position Details:
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:45 AM-3:15 PM (August-May) Summer hours (June-July): 8:45 AM-2:15 PM during our 6-week camp program
Calendar:
Follows Williamson County Schools' calendar for holidays and weather closures
Compensation:
$18.00/hour and up, based on experience and education.
Responsibilities:
Support the Lead Teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for children Model curiosity, empathy, and respect in all interactions Assist with daily routines including snack/lunch, outdoor exploration, and creative projects Observe and document children's experiences to support emergent curriculum development Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a joyful, organized classroom community
Ideal Candidate:
High School Degree or equivalent Has experience working with young children in a play-based or Reggio-inspired setting (preferred but not required) Brings patience, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit Loves being outdoors in all seasons Communicates effectively with children and adults If you're passionate about early childhood education and believe in nurturing wonder through connection and creativity, we'd love to hear from you.
