Job Description

Schedule:
Part-time, Monday-Friday We are looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Assistant Pre-K Teacher to join our preschool team. This position supports the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment where children ages 3-5 can learn, grow, and prepare for kindergarten. Responsibilities Assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson plans. Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth. Help create a positive, organized, and welcoming classroom environment. Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, outdoor play, and transitions. Assist with toileting routines and personal care needs as needed. Encourage positive behavior, independence, and problem-solving skills. Prepare classroom materials and learning activities. Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization. Communicate effectively with classroom staff and families. Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements. Qualifications Experience working with young children preferred but not required. High school diploma. CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus. Dependable, patient, and willing to learn. Strong teamwork and communication skills. CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
