Overview Join our team as a Toddler teacher and become a vital part of creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for young children. In this role, you will support early childhood development by providing attentive care, educational activities, and emotional support. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a positive learning atmosphere where children can thrive physically, socially, and emotionally. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives while developing your skills in childcare and early childhood education. Duties Supervise and engage children during playtime, learning activities, and mealtimes to promote social skills and independence Implement age-appropriate educational programs that support childhood development milestones Ensure the safety of all children by maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and basic health needs in accordance with safety protocols Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and daily activities Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and behavior management strategies Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care when necessary Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare or preschool Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Strong classroom management skills and ability to handle multiple children simultaneously Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills and patience Ability to follow safety guidelines diligently and maintain confidentiality regarding children's information Join us to inspire young minds and support families in our community!
