Full Job Description Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates or higher preferred. Prefer several years of clerical experience. Previous experience working with children, knowledge of child development, exceptional communication skills and ability to interact well with peers. Foundational knowledge of DHS licensing rules and regulations would also be beneficial.Duties/Responsibilities :
- General Support to the Director
- General housekeeping duties (keeping office area clean and organized)
- Assisting admin and teaching staff with office duties, making copies, sorting materials for classrooms, etc.
- Assist in maintaining brochures, signage, and proper display of information for state agencies.
- Field phone calls and visitors, conduct tours
- Maintain school library (check-in and out process)
- Close school at 5:30pm Mon-Fri.
- Step in as a sub for admin staff to accommodate attendance to needed trainings and the use of PTO as awarded.
- Make daily break schedule for staff breaks and classroom closers.
- General School Support
- Keep inventory of office supplies and breakroom supplies
- Weekly diaper orders
- Weekly food orders
- Substitute in classrooms/kitchen as needed
- Help supervise children as needed during high-risk activities
- Collect and disperse end of month and beginning of month documentation (DHS and CACFP)
- Maintain and regularly monitor sign-in and out forms.
- Responsible for accurately reporting daily attendance for purposes of state filings (CAC and CACFP)
- Assist with afternoon parent pick up.
- Maintain reading logs for Knox County Library for Mayors initiative.
- Other duties as needed.
