In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a love of learning, promote social-emotional development, and ensure every child's safety and well-being. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain classroom experience while making a meaningful difference in children's lives. Duties Assist in implementing curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy education, and foundational math skills Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere for children aged 2 to 5 years Engage children in age-appropriate activities including physical education, arts and crafts, storytelling, and play-based learning Help with classroom organization, lesson planning, and preparation of educational materials for early childhood education Monitor and support children's behavior using effective behavior management techniques to foster cooperation and respect Collaborate with lead teachers to assess individual progress through observations and standardized testing when applicable Ensure the safety, health, and welfare of children during all activities, including toddler care and daycare routines Requirements Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management strategies, Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and early intervention techniques Ability to work well in a team environment while demonstrating patience and enthusiasm for teaching young learners Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields is a plus Commitment to child welfare standards and understanding of classroom safety protocols Join us in shaping bright futures!
