In this role, you will design engaging lesson plans, implement developmentally appropriate activities, and support the social, emotional, and cognitive growth of each child. Your enthusiasm and expertise will create a positive classroom atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. Responsibilities Develop and implement creative, age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social development. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence among infants and preschoolers. Manage daily classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and activity transitions with patience and professionalism. Use behavior management techniques to foster positive behavior and address challenges constructively. Support early intervention efforts by identifying developmental milestones and collaborating with specialists when necessary. Maintain detailed documentation of each child's progress, including standardized testing results and individualized lesson plans. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's development, achievements, and any concerns. Requirements Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting, including classroom management and lesson planning. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, special education needs, and early intervention strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development methods such as Montessori or other early childhood education frameworks. Experience caring for toddlers and infants with an understanding of toddler care practices. Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners effectively. Ability to implement behavior management strategies that promote positive social interactions. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures related to early childhood education and literacy assessment tools. Certification in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; additional training in child welfare or physical education is a plus.
