Description:
Agribusiness Online Masters Teaching The successful candidate will be expected to: 1) coordinate and develop a fully online masters program in agricultural business; 2) teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics; 3) mentor students; and 4) participate in service activities of the Department, College, University, and profession. The expected start date is January 1, 2027.
Qualifications:
The candidate requires a PhD in agricultural economics or a closely related field. Strong knowledge of the subject matter taught in graduate courses is necessary. Successful candidates must have a strong commitment to quality teaching, excellent communication skills, and a desire to teach and mentor students in digital environments as well as work with industry stakeholders, faculty, and staff. Candidates for the Assistant Professor rank should have demonstrated promise of excellence in the areas of responsibility assigned to them. For the Associate Professor rank, candidates should have demonstrated excellence in areas of responsibility assigned to them, have at least 3 years of college teaching experience, and have taught graduate-level courses.
