TCAT Morristown Job Summary Teach all phases of Industrial Maintenance Technology that includes rigging, fasteners and anchors, intermediate blueprint reading, lubrication, installing and removing packing/seals/mechanical seals/bearings/alignment fixtures and specialty jigs, conventional alignment, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, gearboxes, pumps, reverse/laser and optical alignment, electric motors, variable frequency drives, predictive and preventative maintenance, and vibration analysis.
  • Manage rotation of students
  • Assist in recruitment and job placement of students
  • Must be willing to remain current in the field by participating in professional development activities
  • Monitor, grade, and evaluate individual students' progress
  • Maintain appropriate records and submit timely reports
  • Maintain good public relations with business and industry
  • Possess the communication/computer skills necessary to be an effective instructor
  • Show evidence of good character, organizational skills, and mature attitude
  • Participate in facility maintenance Job Duties Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate Degree or Diploma in Industrial Technology or Industrial Maintenance preferred
  • Minimum of five years successful work experience in the Industrial Maintenance field
  • Electrical, PLC, Automation, and Robotics experience preferred
  • Evidence of potential ability in instruction. Prior teaching experience preferred
  • Evidence of proficiency in oral and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands / Working Conditions {sTAOther1}
