Family Teaching Couple/Designee Mission:

To teach skills and behaviors to maximize independence in activities of daily living for a small caseload of persons who have severe developmental disabilities and other special needs in a variety of community settings.

Responsibilities:

1) Assists persons served to maximize independence in activities of daily living and provides supervision of persons served while in the care of staff. 2) Serves as Teacher-In-Charge, or assists Teacher-In-Charge, as determined and specified in the home Hierarchy of Teacher-In-Charge. 3) Performs cooking, cleaning and personal services of persons served while in the home or community. 4) Complies with various federal and state regulations, TFS' adaptation of the Teaching Family model, and TFS policies/procedures. 5) Behavior exhibits professional attitude, demeanor, and interpersonal skills required by position and company. 6) Other duties as assigned by
