Location:
ECA This posting is for an Assistant Teacher (Special Education), at the Early Childhood Academy for the 2026-2027 School Year. Job Description and Current Compensation Plan are attached. This position is in the Pay Grade 3 category.
Primary Purpose:
Help special education teacher provide for physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities in a self-contained classroom, including self-help, behavior management, and instruction programs. Work under general supervision of principal and immediate direction of certified teacher.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification Minimum of 48 college hours required Valid Texas educational aide certificate (the District will assist the employee in obtaining the certificate)
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to work with children with disabilities Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to communicate effectively Knowledge of general office equipment In order to be considered for a position, upload a cover letter, resume, and any other supporting documentation in "application materials".
