In this role, you will inspire curiosity, foster development, and ensure the safety and well-being of children from infancy through preschool age. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning and positive social interactions, making a meaningful difference in children's lives every day. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development, early learning skills, and social-emotional growth. Provide attentive care to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness at all times. Manage classroom activities to encourage exploration, creativity, and learning through play-based methods. Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized attention in collaboration with specialists when necessary. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Administer basic first aid when needed and follow proper procedures for emergencies or incidents. Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive team atmosphere focused on continuous improvement in childcare practices. Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and transitions between activities. Stay current on best practices in childhood education, childcare regulations, and early childhood development techniques through ongoing training. Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool settings, or similar environments; experience with infants, toddlers, or special education is highly valued. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education methodologies. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies. Certification in first aid and CPR. Excellent communication skills to foster relationships with children, parents, and team members. Demonstrated patience, compassion, and adaptability in caring for young children with diverse needs. Experience with classroom management tools and caregiving routines such as diapering or feeding schedules. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a nurturing approach. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to childcare environments.
