Carpe Diem Learning Collective is a homeschool learning pod serving elementary students in Allen, Texas. We believe children learn best when they are known, challenged, and taught at the pace they need rather than simply following a calendar. Our classrooms are intentionally small, allowing teachers to build strong relationships with students and partner closely with families. Candidates with a child between the ages of 6 and 10 may qualify for free or reduced tuition . Position Overview We're seeking a passionate and creative Elementary Teacher (Grades K-5) to lead group classes of homeschooled students. The ideal candidate loves fostering curiosity, enjoys cross-curricular projects, and values individualized instruction. You'll work with a maximum of 16 students per class, ensuring a personalized and engaging experience for every learner. Key Responsibilities Must be proficient in ELA and Math Teach engaging lessons in Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Differentiate and customize instruction based on ongoing student analysis, individual learning styles, and academic levels across K-5. Create a warm, inclusive, and structured classroom environment. Collaborate with Director to integrate project-based learning. Communicate regularly with parents through google classroom to share student progress and achievements. Incorporate social-emotional learning, creativity, and movement into daily routines. Participate in school events such as graduation andfield trips. Qualifications Associates degree in Education or a related field (required). Texas teaching certification is a plus, but not required. Minimum 1 years of experience teaching elementary grades preferred. Experience with homeschool education or small-group learning environments is a bonus. Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills. Ability to work with neurodivergent children Must be patient, creative, and passionate about helping students thrive.
