In this role, you will support the development and well-being of infants in a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education, combined with your ability to connect with young children and their families, will help foster a positive learning atmosphere. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the crucial early years of a child's life. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote infant development and curiosity Provide attentive child supervision, ensuring safety and comfort at all times Support infants with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap time, and playtime Engage children through interactive play, sensory activities, and early childhood learning exercises Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures when necessary Qualifications Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong classroom management skills and ability to implement behavior management strategies Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and maintain confidentiality of child information Passion for nurturing young children's growth and fostering a safe learning environment Join us in shaping the future by providing compassionate care and inspiring early learning experiences for our youngest learners!
