Founded in 2014, our mission is to offer educational programs based on a creative curriculum that develops higher-order thinking skills. We integrate the Spanish language, literature, and culture into every aspect of learning. Please apply only if you meet all the requirements listed below. What You'll Do Complete a minimum of 30 hours of child-care-related training specific to the age of children in their care every year. Complete a CPR and First Aid training every 2 years Attend Meetings and School Events Arrive and leave at the scheduled hours Understand and comply with all policies and procedures described in the Texas Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers, NWSS Operation Policies and Discipline Policies, and the Texas Rising Star program. Demonstrate competency, good judgment, and self-control in the presence of children and when performing assigned responsibilities. Relate to children with courtesy, respect, acceptance, and patience. Practice responsive care. Provide care that is consistent with the child's habits, strengths, and any special needs. Perform various tasks required when dealing with young students, including but not limited to diapering and cleaning. Ensure a safe and risk-free environment. Use technology to communicate with parents and school management, or for educational purposes. Collaborate with coworkers and deal with ambiguity. Communicate in both English and Spanish with parents, students, and other employees. Recognize and respect the uniqueness and potential of all children, their families, and their cultures. Requirements
EDUCATION
High School Diploma and experience, educational or working, in the field, OR Bachelor's Degree in the field of Education or in an unrelated field
OTHER SKILLS
