Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated toddler Teacher and teacher assistant to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of childhood development and the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves planning and implementing engaging activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in preschool-aged children. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children. Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their curiosity and love for learning. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience for students. Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible. Provide first aid as needed while ensuring the health and safety of all students. Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual requirements. Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Experience Previous experience working in a preschool or childcare setting is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential. Familiarity with special education practices is advantageous. Experience in infant care, toddler care, or babysitting will be considered an asset. Certification in First Aid is required; CPR certification is a plus. A background in working with children with disabilities will be beneficial.
