Teacher Aide 3340 South Alameda Street, Corpus Christi, TX 78411 Part-time Part-time St. Patrick Catholic School in Corpus Christi is seeking an exceptional individual for the following position: Teacher Aide for grades K-4. St. Patrick Catholic School provides a beautiful education, teaching the "whole child" through an outstanding academic program, spiritual formation, athletics, fine arts, and extracurricular activities. The right candidate will assist the lead teacher in providing a safe, faith-filled, and developmentally appropriate learning environment, with the ability to support early childhood instruction and classroom management, while fostering the spiritual, social-emotional, and academic growth of young children, in alignment with Catholic teachings.

Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic church Continuously grows in the ministry by participating in religious ceremonies, training sessions, and reflection activities as directed. Primary Responsibilities include:
Faith Formation:
Model and promote Catholic values, traditions, and morals in all interactions with students and staff. Assist in leading classroom prayers and facilitate the students' attendance at school liturgies or prayer services Instructional Support:
Implement developmentally appropriate curricula under the guidance of the lead teacher. Work with small groups or individuals to reinforce basic concepts, math, and literacy skills Classroom Management:
Assist the teacher in maintaining a clean, organized, and loving classroom environment. Aid in managing student behavior, establishing daily routines, and ensuring students remain on task Student Supervision and Care:
Supervise students during transitions, bathroom breaks, lunch, and recess. Tend to the physical and emotional needs of young children Clerical Duties:
Prepare materials, make copies, laminate documents, and set up bulletin boards Performs other duties as assigned Mental/Physical Demands:
Able to carry, pull, push, lift, or move objects 10 pounds or more Able to maintain composure under duress; maintain emotional control under stress Able to exercise patience with young children and their needs Able to bend, kneel, or crouch down to work with young children Organization Improvement and Morale:

Reports to Principal Part-time, Non-exempt position Must successfully complete pre-employment screening, including criminal history background check, motor vehicle record review (MVR), and drug screening Certification in Safe Environment training provided by the Office for Safe Environment and Child and Family Resources is required Must adhere to all Diocesan policies and procedures Qualifications:
Minimum education required: High School diploma or equivalent, though an Associate Degree or specialized early childhood education (ECE) coursework is highly preferred. Early Childhood or Elementary Education experience is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with diocesan policies and procedures Valid Texas driver's license Must be 21 years of age or older Required Skills and Abilities:
