Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Teacher Assistant to join our vibrant educational community. In this role, you will work closely with lead teachers to support classroom activities, foster a positive learning environment, and assist students in achieving their full potential. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to inclusive education. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to early childhood development, While sharing the love of Jesus in and through the environment. Duties Support classroom instruction by assisting with lesson implementation and activity facilitation based on curriculum plans. Provide individualized attention to students, while engaging through activities and play. Assist in managing classroom behavior through positive behavior management techniques and effective classroom management strategies. Help prepare educational materials, set up learning stations, and organize classroom resources to create an engaging learning environment. Collaborate with lead teachers on lesson planning, curriculum development, and literacy or math activities tailored to diverse learning needs. Support early childhood education practices such as Montessori or preschool methodologies, including toddler care and preschool activities. Foster a safe, inclusive space that promotes social-emotional growth and supports children's overall development in areas like childhood development and classroom experience. Other duties may include but are not limited to potty training, diaper changing, washing of dishes, cleaning facility in some form, laundry, etc. Experience Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is a plus. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies a plus. Strong communication skills for collaborating effectively with administration, teachers, and students. Knowledge of curriculum development for literacy education, math, and holistic childhood development is advantageous.
