Experience:

Minimal of six (6) months Childcare experience is required for this position.

Education:

High School Diploma / GED is required per policy.

Language:

English required (Spanish is a plus) to communicate with children, parents, and staff Driver's license: Not required for position, but must have ID.

Requirements:

CPR Certification Duties:

• Work as a team member to meet the needs of the children classroom and center as a whole
• Prepare meals / snacks for children
• Meet the emotional, social, physical and cognitive needs of each child
• When appropriate participate in open communication with parents
• Maintain confidentiality
• Report any suspect abuse to supervisor
• Clean and arrange classroom environment in accordance to program goals and philosophy
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment
• Inspect and replace damaged or lost materials
• Attend in-service and staff meetings
• Keep all appropriate records such as attendance and time sheets.
• Meet all applicable licensing regulations
• Daily assignments may include coverage for other staff during breaks and planning time, clean toys and educational materials, clean common areas such as bathrooms, kitchen, break room and outdoor play areas, remove garbage, inventory supplies, organize art and supplies cabinets.

Shift:

6:30-10:30 Monday-Friday or 1:00-6:00 Monday=Friday
