MUST HAVE CHILD DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE.
Responsibilities Implement Frogstreet curriculum plans that promote literacy, social skills, and physical development in young children Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence Manage daily classroom activities with effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment Engage in child development instruction tailored to individual needs, including special education and early intervention techniques Conduct lesson planning that integrates Frogstreet methods and other educational frameworks suitable for preschool learners Monitor and document each child's progress through assessments aligned with standardized testing where applicable Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's milestones, challenges, and successes Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety standards Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety protocols to foster an optimal learning space Support preschool care routines and participate in physical education activities designed for early childhood development Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; prior classroom management experience is highly valued Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, including toddler care, literacy education, math fundamentals, and early intervention strategies Familiarity with education practices and behavior management techniques for young learners Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing Frogstreet educational approaches Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with children, parents, staff, and community partners Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety compliance Ability to work hands-on with children during various activities including physical education and tutoring sessions Demonstrated commitment to early childhood education standards and best practices in preschool teaching
MUST HAVE A CHILD DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE OR MUST BE WORKING TOWARDS COMPLETING THE CDA PROGRAM.
