We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Instructional Paraprofessional to join our team at Eustace High School. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering an educational environment that is inclusive and supportive, and will be able to work collaboratively with teachers and staff to enhance the learning experience for our students.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist teachers in planning and implementing instructional programs and lessons in accordance with school district guidelines. 2. Provide support to students, individually or in groups, to reinforce learning concepts that were initially introduced by the teacher. 3. Monitor student behavior and ensure a safe and positive classroom environment. 4. Assist in the preparation of instructional materials and classroom displays. 5. Provide support in managing student behavior, including implementing the teachers' behavioral strategies and managing crises. 6. Perform clerical duties, as required, relating to textbooks, instructional supplies, student reports and records, attendance reports, etc.
Skills:
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 2. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students. 3. Strong organizational and planning skills. 4. Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively. 5. Knowledge of educational techniques and methods. 6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
Certifications:
The ideal candidate will hold relevant certifications that qualify them to work as an Instructional Paraprofessional. Please note that all certifications must be valid and up-to-date.
