The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and a strong understanding of classroom dynamics. This role is essential in supporting the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for preschool-aged children. The Assistant Teacher will help facilitate learning, promote social skills, and ensure the safety and well-being of all students. Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive learning environment and addressing behavioral issues as they arise. Engage with students during activities to promote their understanding of concepts, including basic Math and literacy skills. Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met. Foster relationships with students to encourage their social development and emotional well-being. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom to create an inviting space for learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Experience Previous experience working with students in a preschool, kids church or private school setting is preferred. Strong classroom management skills to effectively support the lead teacher. Ability to educate young children in foundational subjects and biblical principles while fostering a love for learning. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
