Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate Montessori curriculum for children in the toddler, 3-6yrs and preschool age range.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children under your care
  • Create engaging and educational activities to promote child development
  • Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate lesson plans and activities
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and development
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and other relevant information
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Montessori curriculum .
  • Experience in toddler care, preschool, or childcare settings
  • Familiarity with special education practices and strategies
  • Understanding of child welfare regulations and best practices
  • Excellent classroom management skills to engage and educate young children
  • Ability to promote literacy education through age-appropriate activities
  • Experience working with diverse groups of children, including those with special needs
