Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate Montessori curriculum for children in the toddler, 3-6yrs and preschool age range.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children under your care
- Create engaging and educational activities to promote child development
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate lesson plans and activities
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and development
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and other relevant information
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Montessori curriculum .
- Experience in toddler care, preschool, or childcare settings
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies
- Understanding of child welfare regulations and best practices
- Excellent classroom management skills to engage and educate young children
- Ability to promote literacy education through age-appropriate activities
- Experience working with diverse groups of children, including those with special needs
